To consider: Do not receive the car at night! Do not be afraid to spend a lot off time going over every inch of the vehicle, even if the driver is getting antsy. Consider what's more important, the driver or your pocket book! Do not sign the BoL unless or until you've had the opportunity to go over every square inch of the vehicle at your leisure. You will come out a loser as they will simply point to their purchase agreement that you approved on their quote. Don't let their demeanor fool you into thinking that when it comes to the bottom line that they will be equally nice. They will not give you any measure! They know they damage vehicles all the time and as a result their agreement is tipped entirely to their favor (as all of the transporters agreements will be). As an example, by contracting with them you waive the right to pursue legal action against them in your local court (where you would likely win, because they wouldn't show up); so, unless you're willing to travel to South Dakota to file a suit, you're out of luck.

We purchased a vehicle online out-of-state and the dealer said they didn't ship, but they recommended we contact Yada.

The good: The folks at Yada were nice. Yada provided a reasonable quote in a timely fashion, and they were able to retrieve our new car almost immediately. Yada delivered the vehicle fairly fast (five days). The Yada driver was polite and had good follow through. One of the tires was near flat and he filled it from the truck for us before we left.

Nice people, but use with caution!

Of course the car was filthy, covered in salt and road grime and in the dark the damage was impossible to see. We didn't discover it until the next morning when the car was washed. We reported it to Yada, with photos, within minutes of the discovery. Yada and the driver's response was "you and the driver inspected the car and found no damage" and sent a copy of the BoL to us as evidence of this fact. This did not in fact happen, rather most of the “inspection” transpired because the car had a tire with low air pressure and he put air in the tire for us. Even in daylight it would have been difficult to discern the damage given how dirty the car was, but we would have stood a better chance.

Great company to work with, quick shipping and great pricing.

Now the bad: Yada damaged our care in transport. Can't say how or exactly when, but at some point while in Yada’s possession the roof of the car received three significant dents from something heavy striking it or landing on it. The cost to repair will be $1800. Yada refuses to cover the damage because we signed the BoL. Total bill to transport the car and repair the damage will be about $2700, about 16% of the value of the car.

The Story: The driver arrived in the late evening, giving us about an hour's notice of his arrival. It being late on a cold winter night (about 10 F), we thought we'd be nice and meet him at a drop-off point where he was depositing and retrieving other vehicles so he wouldn't have to drive back into town. Unlike the other cars which would be dropped-off and picked up inside the auction house, our pick up transpired in a very dark parking lot. We were not given the option to pick up the car at any other time (say, the next morning).
